Artist Reception for Carlo Martinez

The Denver born artist Carlo Ray Martinez has traveled around the world; to Canada, Japan, Venezuela, and Mexico, and has lived in many cities in the United States.

He has been able to find adaptation to diverse cultures through his art. Carlo has received two degrees in Media Arts and is a self taught painter.

 In addition to painting, he works in digital video and 3-D design and is attending the Institute of American Indian Arts for degree in Documentary Film.

He considers himself a practitioner of the alchemy of color, and is entranced by the creation process of manifesting ideas and thoughts into tangible art. He has a consistent regard for humanity, personal rights and expression, vision and an unwavering belief in the human imagination.
