True West of Santa Fe Presents: Robert Mac Eustace Jones
Robert Mac Eustace Jones is from the Zuni and Cochiti Pueblo. Robert describes his jewelry this way, "...always present in my work is the underlying theme of line, shape, texture, color, and dimension. I find inspiration not only in the world around me but in other forms of art as well... including literature, painting, sculpture, music, digital art, and photography too. Fragments of which, usually find their way into my work... fitting within the boundaries of my own sense of aesthetics and design."
Robert Mac Eustace Jones artworks are often created in a series. No two pieces are alike, but a common thread will tie the series together. Currently, Robert is attending the University of New Mexico working on an art history degree with a concentration on Native American art. He has been making jewelry since the age of 10. He is now 40. Robert often participates in museum and fine art markets. He's won many awards. Robert's jewelry is represented in the permanent collections of the British Museum of Art and the Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian. SIJ, Sedona Indian Jewelry, is pleased to represent Robert and offer you a wonderful collection of his art.
