Spiderwoman has blessed this family with generations of Master Weavers.  Carrie Whitney is the daughter of Cara Gorman.  Carrie creates some of the most spectacular Spider Rock Burntwater weavings that you'll ever find.  She has won multiple awards for her talent with this style.

Burntwater weavings traditionally feature a central single or belted diamond in soft vegetal pastel colors. Carrie takes it up a notch in her contemporary interpretations.  Maintaining the traditional central diamond shape, she incorporates a background of multi-color horizontal lines. The colors are reflected in the central pattern.
